Happy November!

It's November 1st already, which is SO hard to believe! I hope everyone had a good Halloween. I've been getting good at basic Italian phrases...like "good morning" (buongiorno) and words for just objects around the house! Like mirror, door, window, ect. I have a feeling little things like this will go a long way, and I also want to show my host family that I care about learning the language and I'm willing to take the time to get it right. My benefit is November 10th at the Neighborhood house, I'm super excited! But also nervous because I have to give a speech. I'm not the biggest fan of public speaking, not gonna lie! I really hope there is a good turnout because I do still need $4,000 more dollars. We just sent all the invitations out, so that's super exciting! Yesterday I also registered for SATS. I'm really not looking forward to taking the test though, I mean who looks forward to the SATS...haha. I hope I get a good score; I've been studying really hard for them. It's a drag to take them 4 months earlier than all the other juniors but it will be worth it! Thank you for taking the time to read my blog, I appreciate it. I know it's nothing really interesting that I'm updating about but as my departure date (sometime between Jan. 21st and 28th) gets close it will get more exciting! Xoxo
