Academic Schedule

Today we got our schedules for Junior year! Unfortunately, mine needed to have some major changes seeing as I won't be there for the second semester. I went to guidance and it's extremely hard to fit everything in! As of now, my schedule for the semester I will be in school is Algebra II, Honors US History, American Lit, and Honors Physics. It was A LOT of switching around and there are many options on how to do it, but I decided I would prefer to take 4 academic classes and stay after school if needed, rather than to push a class to my senior year and have a study hall. I am bummed that I can't take Honors American Lit, but it is only available for second semester. My guidance counselor advised me it's better looking on a transcript to have taken a lower class and been gone for a semester than to take really high classes and not have had that experience. We checked in with the English department to see if I can take Honors American Lit my senior year along with A.P. English, and it just doesn't seem possible. I feel pretty good about my schedule for next year though, I will take my SATS for the first time before I leave in December, and my ACTS when I get home in June. Now my only setback is raising 11,200 dollars! I've been working on ideas for fundraising, and I will start working full time in July. If anyone has any good fundraising ideas, please let me know!
